Representative Kim Tae-jin
Technical Advisor Lee Cheol-ho is an authority in the fields of architectural structures and steel structures, having received his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees from Seoul National University’s Department of Architecture and completed his postdoctoral studies at UC San Diego. He has been a professor at Kyungnam University and Seoul National University, conducting education and research in the fields of structural mechanics, structural steel design, and seismic design. He led the development of seismic performance tests for large-scale steel joints and design methods utilizing high-performance steel for the first time in Korea. He served as the president of the Earthquake Engineering Society of Korea and the Korean Society of Steel Construction, and is an honorary member of the Society of Architectural Structural Engineers. Through collaborative research with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, POSCO, etc., he has led various national research projects such as utilization of high-performance steel, development of structural design standards, and seismic performance evaluation, and is actively participating in the establishment of steel structure design standards and technical consulting for improving structural safety. He has written over 350 technical papers and numerous technical books, exerting a wide range of influence encompassing both academia and practice.
